well....in response to the governments continued increase on beer we have taken a stand and started our first batch of homebrew. Actually we just decided to give it a go.
So far so good. The SG is dropping nicely (that's the "specific gravity" for those not in the homebrewing frame of mind) and we should end up with a nice 5.8% coopers lager. Yes, this first one may taste like cats piss but we can only hope.
Will be having a bottling day with a good mate of mine on Sunday and set down a wheat beer brew as well.
I have heard "Fosters" is supposed to be good, you should figure out how they make their beer!
